Welcome from the Office of Alumni Relations!
UCO was the state's first institution of higher learning. Born in Territorial Oklahoma in 1890, the university has grown into the cultural and academic hub of Central Oklahoma representing 75,000 graduates. Students from across our great state, nation and from around the globe are drawn here for the same reasons you were--to receive a personal, yet rigorous education. Campus is constantly changing, but one thing is still (and
will always be) Central's hallmark--excellent teaching.
On behalf of the 1,500 faculty and staff, and UCO’s 14,000 students,
we invite you to make your plans to visit and take in a lecture, attend an opera or play, an athletic event or a concert at the new UCO Jazz Lab. The UCO Alumni Office can arrange for a personal tour for you to see Broncho Lake, the new state-of-the art Wellness Center, and the new residence halls. We know you'll enjoy some seeing some of your favorite sites like Murdaugh and Thatcher, Wantland Hall and Hamilton Fieldhouse.
If you haven't heard about all the new and exciting developments on campus, we invite to join the UCO Alumni Association and begin receiving the alumni magazine, Old North. It's one of the best ways to keep in touch with the campus and other alumni.
We look forward to seeing you or hearing from you soon.
