Mission Statement
The University of Central Oklahoma Assessment Program institutes
program-focused assessment in all areas of university life. The collection
and analysis of information on student performance enables the decision-
makers to measure the effectiveness of the academic curricula and support
services for continuous improvement.
The University of Central Oklahoma has had a formal process for
conducting assessment of educational programs since 1991. The
underlining philosophy of the program is based the The Seven Principles
for Good Practice in Undergraduate Education (developed in corporation
with the American Association for Higher Education, the Education
Commission of the States, and The Johnson Foundation).
This website has two focuses: educational resources and assessment
