University of Central Oklahoma President Roger Webb decided early on that he wanted to bring a major entertainment series to UCO.  He did so in 1998 and placed Jon Finch in the place of presenter and consultant for the President's Series, Broadway Tonight.

In Webb's mind the "university's mission is to enlighten and enrich both students and the community with cultural and educational offerings."

Each year, the Broadway Tonight series presents five to six shows that are either national Broadway tours or concerts performed by legendary entertainers.

Broadway Tonight celebrates nine years of entertainment with stars and shows that include: Shirley Jones, Arsenic and Old Lace, Hello, Dolly!, Grease!, Fosse, Hairspray, Tap Dogs, Love Letters, Titanic, Big River, The Fifth Dimension, Debbie Reynolds, Christmas with Roy Clark, Aida, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Jekyll & Hyde, Phantom, Carol Channing, The Full Monty, Crazy For You, Melissa Manchester and Paul Williams, The Music Man, South Pacific, Kiss Me Kate, 1776, and many, many more!

Most of our shows take place at UCO's Mitchell Hall but due to space conflicts, occasionally we take our shows to Rose State College Performing Arts Theatre or one of the Edmond high school auditoriums.

We welcome phone calls and comments from the public and you can reach our main office at 974-2609.

See you at the theatre!
