I’m the seventh family member to attend UCO, so growing up with it and having supportive stories was a huge help. I just felt at home while on campus and knew it was the best place for me. Everything about it is amazing: the people, classes, atmosphere, EVERYTHING. The Leadership and Broadcasting programs were also big reasons. Leadership is extremely important to me, and something that I believe is needed in all aspects of life. UCO has some of the best leaders in nation, and to be surrounded by them is an amazing feeling and keeps me motivated. I don’t know if I can pick one? So I’ve had a lot of memorable moments so far, but the one that sticks out is Wake Up in Wantland. It was a BLAST! It’s an event during stampede week, and basically a party at Wantland Stadium. It rained like crazy, but that made it even crazier. Plus it was on my 19<sup>th</sup> birthday, so I loved spending it with all of my friends here. I’ve met so many amazing people and new friends that I know I will be with for my lifetime. You are always surrounded my awesome, supportive people which is a huge help, especially if you’re down about things. Another great thing is you see them all the time! The campus is big, but not overwhelming, so you are bound to see friendly faces everywhere you go. I know it sounds a little cheesy, but it’s so true. I graduated from a very small school so of course everyone had known me since pre-school, so I couldn’t help being a little nervous of how I would meet new people, make new friends, and how I would be accepted here. By being myself, I’ve eliminated all of those worries and have met so many amazing people who have accepted me for me.
