So my trip for this week was cancelled, sadly to say. I have like 2 tests, a speech, an essay and other meticulous things that need to be done so I cancelled. But there is another one in April that I am shooting for. School has been kinda rough. Drama still going on with “friends” and I seem to never have time for school even though I have more than enough I choose to not do homework. UCO was so pretty this last week with the snow. It was like a winter wonderland. I really enjoyed it. My high school guard instructor and I are working to start an independent winterguard:  Pavo Winterguard. If you would like details Email me!!

This new semester at UCO has been exciting. I have alot of things going

for me already. I am changing my major to probably Mass Comm--Public

Relations or Interpersonal Comm. I really want to be a wedding

planner...HAHAHAHAHA!! Sad but true. If that fails through I might end

up being my friend Alyx Picard's agent she is going to write

screenplays and tv shows. Also Feb. 6th-10th I will be going to

Detroit, Michigan for GATE. There I will be learning about

LGBT(Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender) Leaderships roles. I will

be involved in group conventions as well as workshops! I am really

excited!! Wish Me luck!!!

I have started a new job for the spring semester in the Liberal Arts building for UCO’s Sociology, Criminal Justice, and Substance Abuse Studies. I am their new student secretary. I started early this week and I have enjoyed it so far. I am really excited to work for these people. They are some of the nicest people around. Come see us on the second floor of the L.A. building, right about the English Department.

So many people tell you when you graduate that people in college don’t care about your drama or about stupid petty stuff. Well that’s not true. Some of the freshmen and sophomores I have met start more drama than people back home in high school. But what makes it worse is living in the dorms. You see each other all time and then there is that awkward silence in the elevator when you can't stand them and vice versa. People that live in the dorms have a lot of fun don’t get me wrong I really enjoy it. Just that when you are so close to people for so long you start to notice the real them and notice how rude and snotty they can be.

But then people also tell you when you graduate:

“Friends in high school are friends now, Friends in College are friends FOREVER.”

And I find that very true. I talk to some people back home but they are starting to fade away and I have made a lot of friends here thanks to leadership service projects and also thanks to the dorms and orientation. I have made three best friends that I will never ever forget. They are always there for me. So I guess that’s one good thing that college has brought. HaHaHa just kidding. But really friendship here is a great thing to have.
