Oh my goodness…

Well, I missed last week >> surprise!! Just kidding. It’s not really a surprise-- we know I’m a slacker. So, let’s recap real quick...

Spring break was incredible but entirely too short! I enjoyed just hanging out at home. I got to see a few people from high school and spent some quality time with my brothers. It was nice to relax for a few days before coming back to school. It has been pretty busy since break. I’ve had lots of homework and other activities to keep up with…

I realized the other day that my first year of college is almost over with. When my first semester ended, I was in shock, but now I’m just speechless. It’s crazy how fast life goes by. I only have 4 weeks of classes then a week of finals and my first year will be over! It’s so weird-- I just don’t know what to think…

Well, I’m out of stuff to say and I have a paper due Monday that’s worth a quarter of my grade, so I better end this little thing and get to it…

Hope your weekend is fantastic!!

Breaks and stuff…

So, this week has been fairly normal. I had class, a couple tests, some meetings- no big deal… except Wednesday night I went to see Enchanted- again. That movie is amazing! It’s the cheesiest thing I’ve ever seen and it’s great!!

I get to go home for spring break today—I’m incredibly excited!!!!! I get to hang out with my family and some friends from high school… I’m really looking forward to just sitting on the couch, watching some TV and catching up on my reading.

OH—exciting news: I will be an RA in west hall next year!!! I can’t believe I almost forget to put that in here… I found out yesterday, and it’s a really big deal. I’m pumped!

Well… I need to finish packing and get ready for class. Hope you have a wonderful break!!!

Well…

I had three tests and a quiz this week. That was fun—not…

I’m super glad it’s Friday! Tonight is the first night of Freshmen Follies, and I am incredibly excited about going to watch my friends!!! It’s going to be amazing…

UCO hosted the OSGA congress yesterday and today, so I got to see one of my friends from NSU. We went to the dollar movies and watched Enchanted last night. It was one of the cheesiest movies I have ever seen and I loved it!!!! I feel like I will definitely have to own it…

On Tuesday, I interviewed to be an RA for next year. We are supposed to find out before spring break whether or not we got the job, so I am patiently awaiting a hopefully exciting phone call…

The weather this week has been rather insane… it has rained and snowed, been really cold and really wonderful, sunny and super windy! Crazy things happening in Oklahoma, but I guess it’s normal…

I think I’ve shared enough—it’s time to watch a Disney movie with my roommate…

HAPPY WEEKEND!!!

Slacking—Again…

First of all, sorry for being such a slacker these past couple weeks! I was doing so good, and then I missed two weeks… but I’m back.

There have been lots of things going on lately, and I’ve really been taking some time to think. I’m beginning to realize what is most important and what I really want out of life. I don’t know if I’m particularly excited about these new realizations, but I do know that I need to start making some changes in my life. Whether good or bad, I’ve got to start doing some things differently.

Last week I was sick with the flu. I was miserable and in bed for about 4 days. It was absolutely no fun! But, I am better now and back to the semi-normal routine.

On a more positive note, my classes are going really well this semester. I just got back three tests, and I made an A on every one of them. Needless to say, I was pretty excited! Even though the times I have class are no fun, I am getting stuff accomplished and even enjoying a couple.

I hope you all have a wonderful weekend! Please email me if you have any questions…

Living for the weekends…

This past week I had the privilege of representing PLC in the Freshman King and Queen election. After applications and interviews, the top five candidates for each are voted on by the freshmen student body. I didn’t win, but I am thankful for the experience. It was fun, and I felt very honored to represent PLC.

After class today I get to go home for the weekend—I am extremely excited! My family is going to the Casting Crowns concert in Tulsa tonight, and I just get to hang out at home until Sunday night. It looks to be an amazing weekend!

I know February 1 was the big deadline for a lot of important college stuff. I also know how stressful things can be, so I hope things are going well for you all… let me know if I can help with anything!
