HOLY COW!
WOW! I have been so busy since I got back from Christmas break and Spring Break! Things are just going crazy! It’s already past mid-terms for this semester! I cannot believe that! I am working on our step show and spring sing right now for Greek Week which is amazing! I cannot wait to see all of the Greek houses Spring Sing and Step!!
So, I have been given the amazing opportunity to have an internship through the Disney College Program! I will be in Florida starting in June and will not be back until January of 2009! This is going to be an awesome thing! I will take an organizational leadership course while I am down there that will count towards getting a leadership minor!! I am so excited! I cannot believe that I am going to be in Florida for an entire semester! How crazy is that!?
I trust that everyone is looking forward to coming to UCO because if not, you need to be getting excited! I loved student orientation!! People go and think that it’s stupid and what not but it is very cool! I got to meet a lot of new people and got up in front of everyone and danced! WOOHOO! Ha-ha! Well this is short but I have a lot to do right now!!!

A very long week!
So, last week was pretty amazing, I was up for Freshmen Queen along with some pretty awesome girls. We all had to campaign Monday & Tuesday then the game was on Wednesday. I didn’t win, but the girl that did totally deserved it! Congrats Elizabeth & Jacob! I got some really pretty flowers from my sorority and they also made me signs which were AWESOME! Now I am focusing on getting my lines for Freshmen Follies memorized! We are taking pictures so I am getting really excited because the show is less than a month away! I am so exited! YAY! So, I officially have admitted that I am addicted to Starbucks. Every day I go to the one in the UC and get a White Hot Cocoa! It’s amazing! I’m not going to lie! I am so excited that this semester has started out great with all my classes and stuff! I know that this semester will be the better one! J For the suites hall council, we are doing this thing where people that live in the suites can go and have a crush soda and/or carnation sent to their valentine’s room. The first two are free then every crush soda after those are fifty cents and every carnation after the first two is a dollar. I just hope that this goes good! I love being on the suites hall council. We do a lot of really cool stuff! A couple of days ago, some girls from my sorority went over to our new house and started cleaning. It used to be a fraternities house but then we bought it. We cleaned up all the glass that was broken, replaced light bulbs, put batteries in the smoke alarms, and just tried to clean the place up so we can get the contractors in there to do the rest! I am really excited to see the outcome when it gets all done! YAY! Well, I hope that everyone had/has a great week and have a happy valentine’s day!

First Week Back
So, wow. That’s all I can say about the first and second weeks back to classes. I chose to have an eight a.m. class…that’s hard! HA I have to get up like at seven a.m. It’s different but there really aren’t that many people out that early in the morning, but having morning classes will allow you to go back to bed after your classes are over! Like I don’t have classes after eleven a.m. so that allows me to come back and sleep and take a shower before I have to go to work.
I am getting so excited because my sorority just bought a new house and we are hoping that they start the remodeling sometime next month! We will be able to move in August 1st, I believe. I am not totally sure though! I have a lot of stuff on my plate right now with school, the sorority, freshmen follies, and working. It’s a load, but I can manage! (Let’s hope!) I know that this is short, but I have some homework that needs to get done. So toodles!

Christmas Break!!
I trust everyone had a good Christmas? I know I did! My dad and step-mom took my sister and me to Disney World in Orlando, Florida for Christmas! It was so warm down there! I really didn’t want to go back! On Christmas day it was like in the high 70’s while back in Oklahoma it was snowing! I could not believe that! We stayed in Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge. When we went out onto our balcony there were zebras, giraffes, wildebeest, and many other kind of animals! The first park we went to was the Animal Kingdom. It was a really cool place! We got to see the Tree of Life! That was amazing! It was lit up at night. Keri and I rode Expedition Everest! It took a while for me to talk Keri to get on it, but it was so worth the wait since we didn’t get to get a fast pass for it. Then on the second day we went to Magic Kingdom, since it was Christmas they were going to have a couple of parades and a big fireworks show at night. When we got to the Magic Kingdom, we got there just in time to get a good place to watch the second parade. It was really cool! I took a lot of pictures! Then we went and rode some rides and then found places to stand for the night parade. I thought that the night parade was better than the afternoon parade! Everything was lit up including the costume people were wearing. Like the lady that was dressed up at Mary Poppins had lights on her umbrella, jacket, and hat and when she snapped her fingers some of the lights that were white turned red! It was seriously a dream come true! Then after the parade we hurried up to the front of the castle where they were getting ready for the fireworks show! THE FIREWORKS WERE AMAZING! I recorded the whole thing! It lasted about 15 minutes! They had a lady dressed up as Tinker Bell that zip lined down from the top of the castle to the back of the park! It was soooo cool! Then the next day we went to Disney-MGM Park where we met up with some family that was also down there. My sister, cousin, and I stayed after the parks regular closing hours because if you stay in a resort you get to stay after regular park hours to ride the rides and what not. So we stayed out until the park closed, which I believe, was around 1 or 1:30am. It was sooo much fun! Then the next day we went to Epcot where we rode Fast Track and Mission: Space. This had to be two of my favorite rides. I didn’t think that I was going to like Mission: Space, but OH MY GOSH! IT WAS SO AWESOME! I am glad that my sister and cousin talked me into it! The day we left we went to Downtown Disney which is basically all shopping and eating. Keri and I bought ourselves new sunglasses. Oakley’s to be exact. I was excited that I actually found a pair of sunglasses that looks decent on me but kind of sad that they cost so much, but they were bought with Christmas money. I really could go on and on about everything we did, but honestly, I think some people wouldn’t want to read it! Haha I took around 535 pictures! J Well again, I hope that everyone had a wonderful Christmas and an awesome New Year! I CANNOT BELIEVE THAT IT IS ALREADY 2008!!!! WOOHOO! Get ready for Freshman Follies! :)
