The Bulgarian Student Association (BSA) was established in 2003 by a small group of Bulgarian Students in UCO with the aim to provide historical, cultural, and ethnical information to the University.

Three years later BSA is one of the most influential international student organizations in UCO with over 39 members from 3 countries.

BSA provides information and expertise thus improving the multicultural climate in the University. BSA conducts constructive dialogue with the International Student Council in order to serve better its members. The members of BSA apply best academic practices and contribute significantly to the growth of the Bulgarian Student Body in UCO.

BSA has come to represent the prominent academic society of the University of Central Oklahoma.
