Alcohol and Other Drugs

The abuse of alcohol and the use of illicit drugs are incompatible with the mission of UCO.  In order to provide a healthy learning environment, UCO has established policies on alcohol and other drugs which are located in the Code of Student Conduct.  Alcohol abuse and illicit drug use may interfere with your academic career and personal growth in developing healthy life skills and becoming the person you would like to be. 

UCO offers programming promoting healthy choices, such as Alcohol Awareness Week, peer education and activities sponsored by the student organization BACCHUS.  Counseling resources are available throughout the metro area and by contacting the Student Counseling Center for help in dealing with any alcohol and drug related problems or concerns.
