For the past few months, the UCO committee for the centennial has been gathering information, planning centennial projects, and
working with the City of Edmond to make the Oklahoma centennial worth remembering for the next 100 years.
Broadway Tonight is sponsoring "A
Centennial Salute to Oklahoma," starring Shirley Jones and
featuring Ballet Oklahoma and the UCO Symphony Orchestra.
The events will be held on October 13, 2007, at 7:30 pm, at
the Rose State Performing Arts Theatre.
The 8th Annual Endeavor Games for
Athletes with Physical Disabilities, hosted by the
University of Central Oklahoma (UCO), has recently been
recognized as an official event of the Oklahoma Centennial. read more >

Traditions, Educating Generations
is a book-length manuscript on the first institution for
higher education in Oklahoma Territory, the University of

UCO's athletes will be wearing a
centennial patch through Fall 2007. read more >
There are already several display gardens throughout campus,
and more to come throughout the Centennial year.
"The Broncho," a life sized statue of a Broncho by renowned
Oklahoma artist Harold T. Holden, now stands at the entrance
to the University.
