Global Competency Definition
A globally competent student is prepared to lead in an ever changing world through his or her acquisition of cultural knowledge, communication and experiences, thus developing a tolerance of ambiguity, self – awareness, and acceptance of differences while utilizing UCO’s core values of Community, Character and Civility.
The CGC believes that Global Competency emerges from students who acquire and cultivate a combination of values, skills, and experiences.
