On September 18-19 2007, UCO, The Oklahoma Department of Homeland Security, the Oklahoma Department of Education, and the Memorial Institute for the Prevention of Terrorism will presented two one-day events called the Oklahoma School Security Seminar. Public school security communities were invited to attend as focus was placed on the multifaceted and complex issue of assessing current security risks, accessing resources to help implement changes, and obtaining additional information critical to the development of a comprehensive school security plan.
