New Faculty Senate Ready to Get to Work

This looks to be an exciting year for the Senate with a new slate of officers and many new Senators. James Mock, Professor of Humanities and Philosophy, takes over the reigns as the new Senate President. David Hartmann, Assistant Professor of Information Systems and Operations Management,  is the new Vice-President.

 

Have An Idea to Improve UCO?

Do you have an idea to improve UCO that you wished you could share with someone? Do you have a concern that needs to be addressed? Well, the Faculty Senate is ready to listen.

 
Senate to Discuss Draft of UCO Educational Philosophy
During the upcoming Senate meeting (September 13) the Senate will discuss the latest draft of the UCO Educational Philosophy. The document, prepared by Assistant VP for Academic Affairs Ed Cunliff, Dean of the College of Education and Professional Studies James Machell, and former Senate President Luis Montes, seeks provide some guiding principles to aid faculty in their efforts to help students learn.
