Teaching Matters

The Center publishes a newsletter, tentatively titled, "Teaching Matters", for faculty and instructional staff.  The newsletter has summaries of research articles on teaching in higher education, teaching tips from faculty at UCO and around the nation, and information about Faculty Enhancement Center programs and activities.  This is distributed to all faculty and instructional staff via campus mail.

Articles

The Center provides free copies of a growing collection of articles on teaching in the higher education setting.  Topics include such widely carrying areas as teaching large classes, teaching sensitive issues, leading discussion, lecturing effectively, tips for opening classes each semester, distance learning issues, good practices in undergraduate education, using case studies, using technology in the traditional classroom, and implementing and controlling groups in the classroom.  Just call or drop by.
