Scholarships for Continuing Students

As a continuing student at the University of Central Oklahoma, there are various opportunities available to you on campus for financial assistance.  This page lists contacts you can make to gather information about scholarships.

Visit with the following offices for scholarship information…

• Academic Department – Scholarship funding varies for each academic department, so check with the department director or department secretary in your respective major for an application, requirements, and deadlines for submission.
• Academic Affairs – Application process begins in the spring semester with the deadline for submissions near March 1^st of every year.  Interested students should visit the office (located in Lillard Administration Building, room 228) or call 974-3371 after January 1^st to obtain an application and instructions.
• UCO Foundation – The application process takes place during the spring semester with the deadline for submission near March 1^st of every year.  Students interested in obtaining more information and an application should visit their office (located in Evans Hall, room 101) or call 974-2771 after January 1^st.

Students possessing special skills and/or talents should contact the particular departments listed below for scholarship opportunities:

Campus Life (974-2363) – Buddy Broncho Mascot, Cheer Team and Pom Pon Squad

School of Music (974-4004) – Band, Choral, Music Theatre, Piano and Symphony Strings

Athletic Department (974-2959) – Athletic Trainer, Varsity Sports

Dance Department (974-5231) – Kaleidoscope Dancers

Be sure to check UCONNECT on a regular basis for information on scholarships that become available throughout the year from the private sector.  As this information is received it will be shared with the student body.
