The UCO Foundation recently launched its 2008 Annual Fund campaign with a new “green” look.
The campaign mailer, going out to over 19,000 alumni and friends, was printed on 100 percent wind-generated recycled paper.
“As a member of the UCO team, it is important for us to both reflect and support the university’s sustainability mission,” said Anne Holzberlein, vice president for development at UCO and executive director of the UCO Foundation.
The UCO Annual Fund is a university-wide fundraising campaign that reaches out to alumni, friends, parents, faculty, and staff asking them to add UCO to their charitable giving plans.
“Gifts to the UCO Annual Fund provide essential private support that has become increasingly vital to the continued success of state universities,” said Holzberlein.
“It serves as an affirmation to our students, faculty, and staff that our alumni and friends believe in UCO and that their gift, no matter the amount, can truly make a difference.”
Gifts made to the UCO Annual Fund directly impact the donor’s area of choice, which can include: any of UCO’s five colleges; the Wellness Center and Chambers Library; as well as individual departments and programs throughout campus.
The 2008 UCO Annual Fund letter will be arriving at many homes through the mail soon. For those who do not receive one in the mail, the letter, which includes a donation form, can be downloaded instantly by clicking here.
Gifts can be made by one of four ways:
- by mailing back the pledge form on the letter;
