Joseph A. Grzybowski, Ph.D. (Biologist/Ornithologist), Professor

Courses: Human Anatomy and Dissection; Human Pathology

Office: (405) 974-5196

Education: B.S. Biology, St. Bonaventure University; M..S., Biology, St. Bonaventure University, Ph.D., University of Oklahoma.

Summary:

Received a number of teaching and research awards at University of Central Oklahoma. Courses service a broad range of funeral service and health science majors. Serves on State of Oklahoma Anatomical Board, and various local, regional and national committees involving endangered species and environmental management. Written numerous reports and publications involving several dimensions of avian biology, most recently focused on community and population biology of brood-parasitic cowbirds and their host communities. With C.M. Pease, developed mathematical models for estimating seasonal fecundity of passerine birds (among other nest history parameters), and of cowbird and host population dynamics.
