Fall Break

This Fall Break was filled with culture, nature, exercise and fun! Our first stop was in Shawnee where we visited the Mabee Gerrer Museum and toured the abbey of the Benedictine monks at St. Gregory's University. Our journey continued to Ft. Smith Arkansas where we visited the Ft. Smith National Historic site with its civil war era prison. The next day we went hiking in the Petit Jean National Park just west of Little Rock Arkansas. Our last stop before returning home was to Mount Magazine to enjoy the beautiful panoramic views from Arkansas' highest point.
