To apply for admission, you must complete an application and submit
official transcripts from each college or university that you have
attended. You will be notified of your admission status by mail.
Beginning Fall 2004, Oklahoma law requires that all incoming
students provide their official vaccination records including MMR and
Hepatitis B. Please submit your complete vaccination record with your
application for admissions.
Freshmen Applicants:

As a first time freshman, you must provide UCO with official up to
date high school transcripts and ACT scores or other required documents.
In order to be admissible for regular study, an individual must have
- (1)
graduated from an accredited high school,
(2) participated in the
American College Testing program or a similar battery of tests,
(3) met
the curricular and performance requirements as shown below:

Performance Levels
Either
a) Test Scores of ACT 20
or SAT 940
or
b)
High School GPA 2.7 or higher and a Class Rank in the UPPER 50%
Transfer Applicants:

In order to be admissible for regular study, an individual must (1)
submit official transcripts from each college or institution attended,
(2) submit an official high school transcript if applicant has completed
less than 24 credit hours. Transfer requirements are as follows:
Credit Hours Attempted:
0 - 30 semester hours; Cumulative GPA must be at least 1.70.
More than 30 semester hours; Cumulative
GPA must be at least 2.00.

If you have not enrolled at the University of Central Oklahoma for a
period of one year or more, you must be readmitted before enrollment. An
application for readmission and official transcripts of all work
completed since leaving the University of Central Oklahoma must be on
file in Enrollment Services (Admissions) in order to be cleared for
readmission.
Professional Program Admissions
Some degree programs, particularly education and nursing, lead to
professional standing and require admission to the program before the
junior year. Requirements and admission information can be found in the
University Catalog.
