UCO’s Division of Enrollment Management Guiding Points

Mission Statement

The mission of the Division of Enrollment Management (DEM) at the University of Central Oklahoma is to recruit, enroll, retain, and graduate a qualified and diverse group of students who can benefit from the learning experience that is offered by our institution. The DEM staff exhibits professionalism through a student centered approach to service by utilizing technology to improve processes, and working diligently to facilitate communication with students.  Finally, the DEM strives to provide exemplary leadership in strategic enrollment planning by integrating programs and services.

 Vision

 The Division of Enrollment Management will: 

  • Provide the leadership in developing institutional recruitment plans;
  • Promote UCO as the institution of choice in Oklahoma and the region;
  • Ensure that the University of Central Oklahoma has a qualified and diverse student population;
  • Exert leadership in developing institutional retention plans;
  • Exemplify a student centered approach to service in each of its DEM offices;
  • Demonstrate a culture of integrated enrollment management; and
  • Engage the University of Central Oklahoma in the enrollment planning process.
