| | Distance Education at the University of Central Oklahoma provides quality |
| | learning opportunities for students who are unable to attend courses on campus |
| | due to distance or time (work schedules). Interactive Video Education courses |
| | are broadcast from the UCO Distance Learning Classroom located on campus in |
| | Thatcher Hall, Room 310. This room holds 16-18 students, but the courses can also |
| | be broadcast to receive sites throughout the State of Oklahoma. Receive sites |
| | are typically higher education institutions and centers, vocational and technical |
| | centers, and a number of high schools in Oklahoma. As a part of the enrollment |
| | process, students must call the UCO Distance Education Center so that a receive |
| | site closest to their home or place of work can be determined. The Distance |
| | Education Center’s phone number is 405-974-5395, or students can send an e-mail |
