OTS mission is to promote information technology advance and to support the transfer from paper to electronic format of all services provided by the Division of Student Affairs. In so doing, OTS advances Student Affairs standing as a leading technology researcher in the University of Central Oklahoma. It is also contributes to socio-economic development through the use of new technologies and related job creation.

OTS provides support for the entire student community comprised of approximately 16,000 students. Its services cover a large range of offering from the management of IT to custom programming and technology support. The office monitors and creates reports of the technology usages and presents them to the planning committees.

OTS staff reports to the Assistant Vice President for Student Affairs and its objectives are:

- To serve the public interest by contributing to the development of useful and morally acceptable products, services and processes.

- To contribute, to extend possible, to the socio-economic well-being of the UCO and Edmond community

- To ensure equitable returns to the University in support of its academic mission, and to its affiliated institutions.
