Meet some UCO Greeks!
 |
I am proud
to be a UCO Greek. Not only does it encourage me to step
out
of my comfort zone, but it enables me to be a better
scholar, leader,
athlete, and gentleman. The house I chose is the best
house for me, and
I think everyone should go Greek. It is the best
decision I have made
in college.

I have
always been very interested in doing community service
activities, and when I noticed how important that
involvement was with the sorority I was interested in I
was instantly drawn to it. I prayed about it and
everything started to fall together without effort,
reassuring me that I was making the right decision. To
this day, I love my sorority and wouldn’t change
anything for the world. As president of my organization,
I have learned patience, not to procrastinate and the
true meaning of responsibilities!

As a proud
UCO alumna, I feel truly blessed to have joined a
sorority. The UCO Greek System allowed a shy girl
to stumble into college through the back door and then,
through the mentorship of intellectually, socially, and
spiritually strong sorority sisters, proudly walk out
the front door ready to make a difference. Without
hesitation, I can say that going Greek was the best
decision I made in college, as well as a great
commitment that I made for life.

I am truly
blessed to have experienced a timeless
sisterhood. I absolutely love UCO and would not
have chosen any place else to receive an education. I
have been able to grow as a leader and a person. I don't
think I would have gone anyplace that would have allowed
me to participate in student government, the pageant
system, multicultural services, Greek life, homecoming,
and residence life. I can honestly say I bleed Bronze
and Blue!

I made so
many friends as a UCO Greek... and I had so much fun
that I can't imagine what college would have been like
without it. I'd recommend to anyone they be Greek.

I went
Greek to find somewhere I could grow as a person and
have a good time in college. Greek activities are a
great way to show the campus what being Greek is all
about, especially during events like Greek Week. One of
my favorite Greek events was putting together the float
for Homecoming Week. Even though it was raining, it was
a great time and a great memory.

The Greek system at UCO is magnificent! Everyone pushes
us to excel in academics, community service, and
brotherhood. As a Greek, I have learned to become
both a leader and a follower. I have made lifelong bonds
with people I that I probably wouldn't have spoken to
without being Greek. I have become a better man,
leader, teacher, and student with the help of my mentors
in Greek Life.
