UCO4ME is designed to support and encourage new students from diverse backgrounds in their academic and personal growth during their first year at UCO.  The U.C.O. 4 M.E. program provides an opportunity for students to enhance their academic and personal success in a university environment.
 

Mentors are students who have successfully transitioned into university life at UCO.  They serve as guides who meet with their new mentees in individual meetings.  Mentees receive one-on-one encouragement, information on academic and community resources, and opportunities to attend on and off campus activities with their mentors.
