Black History Month activities and programs are organized by the Black History Month Taskforce. The Black History Month Taskforce is a group of UCO organizations and individuals who organize a series of events that celebrates the history and accomplishments of African-Americans. It is the goal of the taskforce to expose the community to African-American culture and in doing so celebrate and recognize the contributions African-Americans have made to American history. These events aim to entertain, challenge and educate while providing opportunities for intellectual, spiritual and social growth.
