Welcome Bronchos! The office of
Multicultural Student Services invites you on a
journey to learn the ins and outs of college
life at the University of Central Oklahoma. This
journey will take place during Destination UCO,
the multicultural orientation for the University
of Central Oklahoma. We have provided a few
questions and answers to give you more
information about Destination UCO and why you do
not want to miss it!
What is Destination UCO?
Destination UCO is the premier orientation
program to welcome multicultural students into
the University of Central Oklahoma community.
When is Destination UCO?
Destination UCO is Wednesday, August 15, 2007 in
the Nigh University Center Ballroom from 8:00
a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
Who can attend Destination UCO?
Destination UCO is open to everyone; however the
program is tailored African American, Asian
American, Hispanic American, and Native American
students.
What will I gain from attending Destination
UCO?
You will connect to people that share and
appreciate your unique experience, learn about
the numerous resources available to assist you,
and how to get involved on campus all in a fun
and exciting atmosphere with upperclassmen,
staff, and faculty.
Why should I attend Destination UCO?
You do not want to miss Destination UCO! You
will meet your fellow classmates, the Class of
2011, the people that will become your lifelong
friends. You will also build relationships with
faculty and staff that are intent on your
success and you becoming an alumnus of the
University of Central Oklahoma.
How do I register for Destination UCO?
Just click
here! There is a non-refundable fee of $40
before June 29th, or $50 after June 29th for
Destination UCO. When you register for
Destination UCO you are automatically assigned
to a Bronze or Blue group for New Student
Orientation, August 16-17, 2007.
