Evaluation Criteria

 

Proposals will be reviewed by the Undergraduate Research and Creative Activities Team (URCAT) and the Research Advisory Council (RAC) at UCO.  If there is a conflict of interest for a specific proposal, the member of URCAT or the RAC must recuse himself/herself from the review process of that proposal. 

Proposals will be evaluated based on criteria established by members of the URCAT and RAC.  These include:

  1. Clear description;

  2. Originality and creativity;

  3. Feasibility;

  4. Methodology;

  5. Significance and value;

  6. A detailed budget and a clear justification of expenditures;

  7. A letter of recommendation from faculty mentor; and

  8. A copy of current, official academic transcripts.
