On September 11, 2001 over 120 fire fighters perished. Fire fighters in all communities give their lives to keep residents safe and on the anniversary of this tragic event, UCO students choose to honor and thank firefighters in our community.  Through a partnership with the Edmond and Oklahoma City Fire Departments, students visit fire stations across the metro area and cook a spaghetti dinner for them. By meeting and sharing a meal with the firefighters, students are able to get to know the people who truly make a difference in our community. To get involved in this project, contact the Volunteer Coordinator at (405) 974-2621.
