 The
U.S. Olympic Committee (USOC) named UCO as a community partner
December of 2005. This designation made UCO one of 11 community
partners in the nation.
As a
Community Partner UCO can now communicate with surrounding areas
what is going on in the Olympic and Paralympic community. UCO, the
USOC and current resident Paralympians all work together to find
ways of communicating the Olympic spirit to the Oklahoma City metro
area. UCO and U.S. Olympic and Paralympic athletes have worked in
conjunction to form many educational events.
