Class Descriptions
Step: Step up and down individual
platforms for a high intensity low impact workout. Class is choreographed with
all of your favorite step moves - turn steps, L-steps, A-steps, pivots, rocking
horse, reverse turns, etc! Come challenge yourself to an awesome
traditional fitness class!
Jazzercise: The original dance
exercise phenomenon! Each workout is a fusion of dance and
muscle toning movements choreographed to today's hottest music,
including Top 40, jazz, country, funk, and classics.
Ballet, Yoga &
Toning: A workout blending ballet with toning exercises and
rejuvenating Yoga poses to create a complete, total body workout
sure to burn calories and make you sweat! This amazing blend of
powerful movements and graceful moving poses will sculpt the body
and leave you feeling strong, centered and balanced!
Zumba: Zumba fuses Latin rhythms and easy to follow moves to
create a dynamic workout system that will blow you away! The
routines feature interval training sessions where fast and slow
rhythms and resistance training are combined to tone and sculpt your
body while burning fat!
Step Interval: You won't want to
miss this class! Alternate between step aerobics and strength/ toning
exercises with 5 to 6 minute intervals. Your heart rate will increase and you
will burn fat
more efficiently while alternating between cardio and strength training.
Turbo Kick:
This class includes movement patterns, combinations and techniques
specific to the ancient sport of Muay Thai Boxing. This is the
ultimate cardiovascular challenge complete with a sport specific
warm-up, bouts of intense intervals, easy to follow combinations,
kickboxing specific strength/endurance training and a Tai-Chi like
cool-down.
Pilates:
This class will introduce a series of core
strengthening exercises using gravity and
your own body weight to provide resistance.
Power Yoga: Participants will
learn a variety of hatha yoga poses to strengthen muscles, increase flexibility,
improve breathing, and reduce stress.
Total Strength: This class is great for all
fitness levels - participants will be using all types of fitness tools (tubing,
dumbbells. barbells, the stability ball, etc) to increase muscular strength and
endurance.
Kickboxing/Bootcamp:
A high intensity workout for the serious fitness junkie in mind! This
class will combine martial arts, strength moves, plyometrics, jump roping, and
more! An extreme
workout!
Abs
and Core:
Thirty minutes of an intense abdominal training. Get those washboard abs
that you have always dreamed of!
Indoor Cycling: An
excellent cardiovascular workout utilizing specialized stationary bikes.
Participants choose their resistance while riding to exhilarating music! In this
class you will burn calories! Climb, sprint, and jump your workout to the next
level. Class limited to 12 participants.
