Flag Football:
The game shall be played between two teams of seven players each on a rectangular field with an official football. Five players are required to avoid a forfeit. The game proceeds with each team attempting to score the most points by advancing the ball across the opponent's goal line. The ball may be advanced by running or passing within the restrictions of the rules.

Kickball:
Kickball is played on a regulation softball field. The ball is "pitched" by the pitcher rolling the ball towards home plate and the "batter" kicking the ball. Points are scored when a player crosses home plate. Rules, with the exception of a few adjustments, are played according to ASA Softball Rules.

Softball:
This is a game involving pitching, batting, catching and throwing a ball, and running a series of bases. The game is played on a large open field between two teams of 10 players each. The object of the game is to score more runs than the opponent in 7 innings of play. An inning consists of both teams having the opportunity to bat and score runs before three of its batters or base runners are put out.

Team Handball:
Team Handball combines the elements of soccer and basketball, as six players move the ball down a floor that is larger than a basketball court and tries to score by throwing the ball past a goalkeeper into the net. A successful scoring attempt results in the award of a single point. Typical final scores in this action-packed game run in the mid twenties.

Soccer:
The game is played between two teams of seven players each, six fielders and one goalie. A minimum of five players is needed to start the game to avoid forfeit. The game proceeds with each team attempting to score by kicking or heading the ball into the opponent’s goal.

Volleyball:
The game is played by hitting an inflated ball back and forth over a high net. Points are scored by successfully landing the ball in the court of the opponents without it being returned successfully. By hitting the ball back and forth over the net, with the hands, forearms, head, or any part of the body, play is continued until one team fails to keep the ball in play or until a rule violation is committed. The return over the net must be done without catching, holding, or carrying the ball, without a player touching the net, and without entering the opponents' area. A player keeps serving as long as his or her team continues to win points.

Football Challenge:
This will be a fun skills competition to see who is the “best of the best”. Participants will be selected from each flag football league by the Intramural staff. Skills will include quarter back challenge, receiving, punting, field goals and more.

Table Tennis:
This sport is also known as "Ping-Pong". Played like regular tennis but on a smaller scale, two players get on opposite sides of the table to start the game. One player serves the ball to their opponent using a wooden paddle. The object is to hit the ball on the other side of the table, making your opponent miss the ball without letting the ball go out of bounds. The opponent then hits the ball back over the net with the same purpose of trying to score a point.

Swimming:
The act of moving through the water by using the arms, legs, and body in motions called strokes. The most common strokes are the crawl, backstroke, breaststroke, butterfly, and sidestroke. Swimming is an integral part of almost all water-based activities. It is also a competitive sport itself.

Ropes Course Challenge:
UCO Intramurals combines a little “fear factor” with “The Amazing Race”. This will be a team competition held at UCO’s leadership challenge course. The teams will be made up of four participants, each doing one element of the challenge. The elements are: the pamper pole, space trash, the north side physical and the south side balance.

Jungle Pong:
This is a very fun, exciting and high paced variation of the great game of table tennis. Ten to fifteen players participate at a time. Players number from one to fifteen and must hit the ball in that order in an exhilarating game of strategy, skill and luck. Players are eliminated one at a time until there is just one left.

Texas Hold 'em:
This is the most popular of the community card poker games. It is also the most popular poker variant played in most casinos in the United States. It is generally played with between 2 and 10 people. It is one of the most positional of all poker variants, since the order of betting is fixed throughout all betting rounds.

Dodgeball:
Teams compete against each other and members are eliminated when hit from the shoulder down by the use of soft rhino skin ball.  Members are also eliminated when the opponent catches the ball in the air.  Last team member standing wins.
