31 January (Thursday) 7pm-8pm Ten Essentials for the Outdoors Workshop

What should you take into the Outdoors? The items that any outdoor enthusiast needs to take with them. We will discuss the gear needed to be comfortable, prepared, and safe in the outdoors. 

Bring a Pen, Note Paper, and a Positive Attitude.

11 February (Monday) 7pm-8pm One Pot Cooking

What’s cooking in your camp?  Bet you don’t like to clean up afterwards. Why not cook in one pot, so you only have a one pot to clean? We will discuss some easy recipes and even sample one of the examples. Plus talk about how clean up can be easier. 

Bring a Pen, Note Paper, Drink, and a Positive Attitude.

29 February (Friday) 7pm-8pm Wildlife Precautions Workshop

Are you prepared to go WHERE THE WILD THINGS ARE? This workshop will focus on wildlife that can ruin a perfectly good outing in nature. From da Bears to the little chipmunks. You’ll learn how to be safe while traveling and camping.

Bring your Pen, Note Paper, and Positive Attitude.

11 March (Tuesday) 7pm-9pm Leave No Trace Workshop

Are you an Outdoor Enthusiast? Improve your decision-making skills on how to reduce your impact when you hike, camp, picnic, snowshoe, run, bike, hunt, paddle, ride horses, fish, ski or climb. This Leave No Trace (LNT) program strives to educate all those who enjoy the outdoors about the nature of their recreational impacts as well as techniques to prevent and minimize such impacts. Certificate provided upon completion of the workshop.   

Bring with you:  Pen, Note Paper, and Positive Attitude.                           

Min: 4 participants Max: 25 participants.

27 March (Thursday) 7pm-9pm Bicycle Maintenance Workshop       

Derailleurs, brakes, gears, tires, wheels, just to name a few. Why take your bike to the shop for everything, when you can learn to do most of your own maintenance easily. Space is Limited this hands-on workshop, so sign up quickly. 

Bring your bike (optional) and a positive attitude.

7 April (Monday) 7pm-9pm Navigation 101 Workshop

Do you ever feel like you’re lost while in the Outdoors? You will learn the basics that everyone should know before heading out into Nature. This workshop will focus on Map & Compass. Don’t feel lost anymore.

17 April (Thursday) 7pm-9pm Slacklining Workshop

Slackline is an art of dynamic balance. Learn how to Walk the Line. Build your core strength, focus, grace, quick reaction time, and spatial awareness. All of which can be cross training for life’s activities. Plus you will not be any higher than 3 feet from the ground. 

Bring a Water Bottle, Sandals/Light Shoes, and Clothing conducive to weather conditions.                                                                                            

 Min: 4 participants Max: 12 participants.
